I've competed in hill-climb and sprint events for 7 years now, first in a Formula Ford, then a bike engined Sylva Phoenix and now a road car, a Lancia Delta HF Turbo. The Lancia has been a challenge to be honest, dumping its oil last time out at Goodwood. Luckily the spill was in the paddock and not around the track, but this has not been its only issue.. Lancia proving very clearly to be part of the FIAT group, Fix It Again Tomorrow! Still it is 30 years old so some problems can be expected.

So with a fair wind I hope to see more hills and tracks this year than last, my first year in early retirement too!
